Geophysicist with 20+ years of oil and gas experience from operating companies including Aker Exploration, Eni, Dong, Schlumberger and BP. Consultancy clients include Edison, Lotos, NPD, Centrica and Core. Specialities include site surveys, 2D/3D seismic data acquisition and processing, CSEM data interpretation, project management, seismic interpretation, license work and concession rounds. Johan has experience from offshore Norway, Trinidad & Tobago, East- and West-Africa. M.Sc. in geophysics from the University of Bergen.
30+ years’ experience in the seismic data processing industry with Western Geophysical, Merlin, Ensign and Geokinetics. Senior processing geophysicist with 12+ years of experience at Geokinetics, SAExploration and GeoProvider Processing, working with marine data using Ethos processing suite. Experienced with a wide range of datasets, from the broadband reprocessing of vintage 2D data from the 1970’s to large newly-acquired 3D surveys and UHR data. MMath in Mathematics, University of Exeter.
Experienced Geophysicist, with 21 years of industry experience developed during his work in various companies. He has strong hands-on processing experience with land and offshore field QC, a wide range of time and depth processing experience on 2D and 3D marine surveys (streamer, marine vibrator, OBN, OBC data) and all aspects of project management. These have covered a diverse range of geographical regions, including the Mediterranean Sea, North Sea, Norwegian Sea, Barents Sea, West of Shetland, Greenland, West Africa, Baltic Sea and UKCS.
Since 2018 he has held the position of senior geophysicist, primarily focussed on broadband HR and UHR data processing to address the imaging challenges resulting from complex geology such as gas clouds, salt bodies and sub-basalt regions.
