GeoProvider has built a unique database of legacy data which has been expertly reprocessed and harmonized using powerful broadband workflows to deliver high quality, affordable imaging extending across the Norwegian and Barents Seas.

The GeoProvider multi-client seismic library harnesses subsurface data gathered over more than fifty years of Norwegian offshore exploration. Starting with the raw field data, our experienced geophysical team has analysed, reprocessed, and harmonized over 120,000 line-km of legacy seismic, covering the major basins and producing fields of the Norwegian Continental Shelf and extending across both active licenses and new prospects within open license areas.

Our approach leverages key processing stages including marine broadband technology, tailored multiple attenuation and accurate velocity analysis allowing us to elevate legacy data to contemporary imaging standards, unlocking an exciting resource for the offshore energy industry.
